In our cocina, any flavorful dish starts with a spoonful of Sofrito. Growing up, we were accustomed to the aroma that came with Sofrito sizzling at the bottom of the caldero - ready for a medley of proteins and vegetables that would create a delicious dish.

Although Sofrito has traditionally been used as a cooking base, we’ve been experimenting (and thoroughly enjoying) all the different ways you can enjoy Sofrito. From dips to drizzles to marinades, the possibilities are endless!

From our cocina to yours, here are 22 ways to enjoy Sofrito:

1. Marinating proteins (beef, chicken, pork, fish, tofu, etc.) 🐟

2. Drizzled on top of salads

3. Mixing with olive oil for a yummy vinaigrette to go with salads 🥗

4. Mixed into eggs BEFORE scrambling! 🍳

5. As a cooking base for sautéing vegetables and proteins

6. Drizzle onto grilled protein as a finishing touch 🙌

7. Dunk tostones or plantain chips directly into the jar

8. Put a spoonful into rice and beans 🍚

9. Mixing with mayonnaise for a delicious dip for tostones, yuca fries, etc.

10. On top of any leftover before you microwave it
