We’re set on #feedingtradition with better quality, proudly flavored, real Latin foods. This all came from a need we felt in our own homes and believed many others also shared. It’s time to upgrade the Latin kitchen, and we’re just getting started.
Loisa is an homage to “Loisaida” - the Spanglish name for the Lower East Side barrio of downtown New York City, and one of the hearts of local Latin culture & cuisine. It’s also where Scott, one of our founders, lived when the company got started.
Scott & Kenny, two long-time friends with a long-time appreciation for traditional Latin flavors. Scott grew into this, so to speak. His wife Anna is Dominican, and he can genuinely say that his love for her grew alongside his love for her family and the traditions they now share together. Kenny was born into this, practically. Half Dominican, half Peruvian, raised in a home of mixed Latin culture and cuisines, with a family whose work life and home life has always revolved around food.
We’re all about our friends and collaborators! Local chefs, community educators, talented home cooks, bloggers for food, fashion, and more - our relationships have grown into the thousands and we’d be blessed to build another with you. So reach out! We’ve also got some super special product collaborations on the way, so stay tuned.
If this culture and cuisine are your vibe, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your resume or link to your website/portfolio. We’re planning to hire our first group of full-time team members very soon.

When the flavor is pure, the possibilities are endless! Try our seasonings in classic Latin dishes like Arroz con Gandules or get creative and up your breakfast game with some sazon eggs or tofu. Once you have them in your pantry, you’ll see! Plus, you can always find new recipes and inspiration on our blog.
The reasons are many! Our sazon and adobo seasonings are USDA Certified Organic, Non-GMO, Vegan, Plant-based, Gluten Free, Certified Kosher, and MSG Free - and always will be. Plus, we never use artificial colors or flavors, unnecessary fillers, or any other questionable ingredients.
No, and there never will be! It’s unfortunate, but many “big food” companies still include anti-caking agents or other artificial ingredients like MSG in their seasonings. Doing this makes each bottle cheaper to produce, but at the expense of your health. Often these ingredients aren’t vegan either, even though labels don’t have to say it.
All of our foods and seasonings are manufactured here in the U.S.A.
We like to say it depends on how much time you have. The microwave is super fast - simply tear open a two inch section at the top of the pouch, heat for 90 seconds, and enjoy! The stovetop allows for more creativity, however, as you can mix the rice with eggs, tofu, or any other protein, along with 2 tbsp. water or olive oil, for a one-pan meal in 4-5 minutes.
While our products aren’t on sale very often, we do provide a 10% discount on your first order if you sign up for our newsletter (scroll down to the bottom of this page to join in). It’s a win-win, really. You get some sweet savings now, plus you’ll stay up to date on our news in the future.
